Environmental Non Destructive Testing (NDT) of liquid in pipes

NDT testing of liquid flow in pipes encounters a range of issues including contamination of liquid or damage to the testing equipment from corrosive substances. By using the Panametrics PT 878 or Polysonics Hydra SX30 Doppler flow meters, these issues can be avoided.

These products are designed to measure liquid in pipes for clear water, water with particulates or a high concentrate of bubbles. The clamp on flow meters do not contact the liquid therefore contamination is avoided and the heads are protected from the liquid in the pipe and may be safely used for flow of toxic or corrosive materials.

The Pan26 MG is designed to allow for accurate measurement on internally corroded or eroded materials. Typically the applications include storage tanks, pipe lines, ship hulls and structures affected by internal corrosion.
